National Trail beats TVS in the D3 sectional final game 10-0. This moves their record to (19-6) overall.

National Trail Blazers scored three in the third, five runs in the fourth inning, and 2 in the fifth to beat TVS. National Trail’s offense in the 4th inning was led by Travis Hunt, Peyton Lane, Hunter Michael, and Cody Webb, all driving in runs in the frame.

Moore was credited with the victory for National Trail Blazers Varsity. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out one.

National Trail Blazers Varsity collected eight hits. Michael, Webb, and Lane each racked up multiple hits for National Trail Blazers. Lane, Webb, and Michael all had two hits to lead National Trail Blazers. National Trail Blazers stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Cameron Harrison and Peyton Lane led the way with three.

Peyton Lane broke the school record in two categories last night. He currently has 33 stolen bases on the year, breaking the previous record of 31 held by Shawn Ruebush in 1997. He also currently has 8 triples which breaks the school record in a season. The previous best was 6 held by Andy Blevins in 2005.

Trail will be back in action Saturday at 11:00 @ Arcanum. The district semi-final game will be Monday (5/20) at Eaton HS against Anna.
